FACTS about......BREATHABILITY
If a fabric "breathes" it is usually less water resistant that a fabric that does not "breathe". However if water does penetrate a breathable fabric, it will dry more quickly as air is allowed to circulate. This will help prevent condensation and consequent mould growth. On a totally non-breathable fabric such as PVC, condensation can be a major problem if proper ventilation is not built in. However, this type of fabric can be used effectively to keep things dry as it is completely waterproof (the only possibility of leakage is via seams).

Measurements and Faults
- Fabric is sold by the linear metre.
- Sometimes there are small flaws in the fabric and if these are marked an allowance of more cloth will be made.
