FACTS about......MILDEW
- There are several hundred thousand different strains of mildew and mould.
- No material can be guaranteed to resist all strains.
- Good, regular aftercare is the secret to keeping outdoor fabrics looking good.
- Washing regulary with clean water without abrasive or detergents is the rule for most products.
- When enclosing an area, choose the right fabric for this job and if necessary allow ventilation. This will help prevent mould growth accerated by condensation.

Canvas Standard Dry Chemical
- The following canvas types are all dry chemical proofed, i.e. the colour is added with the proofing. This means that there will be some initial leaching of the colour.
- Rot resistant and water resistant.
- RM quality is superfine, i.e. closer woven, slightly more proofing. Suitable for tarpaulins and funfair tops. Some sailmakers prefer to use it for traditional laying up covers for boats.

- Appearance: Similar to standard canvas but with small squares of polyester, through both warp and weft.
